Course Overview
A Practical Approach
In a modern business environment, managers are increasingly likely to be called upon to be agents of change, expected to deliver measurable business benefits. As a result, in a rapidly increasing number of instances, the delivery of such changes is achieved through projects. Effective project management supported by a structured project management method is therefore becoming the 'key' to the success of both the individuals involved and their organisations. PRINCE2 is the recognised de facto standard project management method, being used extensively both within the UK and increasingly, internationally. Consequently, this course aims to provide those involved in projects being managed within a PRINCE2 environment with an opportunity to learn and practice the underpinning project management skills that contribute to project success. Employing organisations should, as a result, benefit from their delegates' increased ability to successfully manage PRINCE2 Projects in Controlled Environments.
Who will the course benefit?
Attendance will be of particular benefit to Project Board members, Project Managers, individuals occupying Project Support roles and those involved in the assurance of PRINCE2 projects. The course will also benefit Team Managers and Team Members involved in the planning, monitoring and control the delivery of 'Work Packages' on behalf of Project Managers.
